Have the people driving your minibus had their driving skills assessed?
At Swindon Commercial Services Limited (SCS) all our drivers are trained in accordance with the standards set by MiDAS and assessed by our own team of in-house Driver Assessor/Trainers. MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, organised by the Community Transport Association U.K. (CTA), which promotes a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. SCS could assess your drivers, but why not let us simply provide your school minibus service? There's no need to run and maintain an expensive vehicle, asking your staff to take responsibility for driving it. SCS can provide a vehicle all day every day, or just as and when you need it. Our experience of providing Home to School Transport for Swindon Borough Council means we are fully equipped to work with children, including those with special needs.
As a department of SCS Transport Operations our Passenger Transport Services have extensive experience of providing ‘Home to School’ transport utilising a modern and well-equipped vehicle fleet supported and maintained by our integral vehicle workshops.
SCS are members of the Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) and our passenger vehicle drivers are assessed in accordance with the standards set by MiDAS and CRB checked to an enhanced standard.
Our internal team of Driver Assessor/Trainers (DAT’s) monitor driving skills and are available to carry out driving assessments for your drivers as required.
SCS Passenger Transport Services provide both standard and accessible vehicles and are trained in the use of associated equipment. Our experience of providing Home to School Transport for Swindon Borough Council means we are fully equipped to work with children and vulnerable adults, including those with special needs.
